What is your BMI?

Today’s lifestyle means that most of us eat more food than we should and do less exercise than we should.

The World Health Organisation has set targets for a healthy body weight. These targets are based on a Healthy Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a ratio to calculate the weight you should be for a given height. Reaching your healthy body weight range significantly reduces the risks to your health caused by being overweight. Although these targets may not suit all people (e.g. athletes or people who are very muscular) they are a good average target for most Australian men and women.

You can discover your BMI today by simply entering your height and weight in the fields below. If you have any further questions about your BMI or any other weight management question you can book an appointment today to speak to a weight management consultant in store
